About the Fragments team

Fragments of Temuair was started as a learning project by Slyk, it is based on the Lorule/Hades engine built by Wren, the base engine is available for download on GitHub. This all came about from our love for Darkages and the world that we grew up in. Junjou has been part of the project since the beginning and SlashRemix joined early on the development process. Over the course of two or so years the server went from an early Alpha stage to "Live" and has been enjoyed and played by many.

Fragments of Temuair encapsulates several unique features including:

 

1. Fragments - a new way to improve your equipment by instilling it with Temuairian essence. Obtained by destroying enemies or completing questlines and instances. Each piece of equipment allows for two fragments to be slotted. Some equipment has been deemed too powerful to allow these enhancements (or require special fragments), but for good reason!

 

2. Layers of questlines and instances that create a rich 1-99+ journey. More to come!

 

3. Crafting, Refining, and Enchanting systems that allow the player to customize their character's armor and equipment to best suit their needs, and at the same time allowing for more diverse and complex character builds.
 

4. Custom art by Slyk that sets the scene for this new world; including a custom UI bearing a nostalgic impression.

 

5. The logic for spells, skills, monster AI, and several other functions has been shaped for a pleasurable new player experience.

 

6. Siege of Fragments is a living war between guilds that determines the ownership of castles and their treasures. Continuing to hold these castles after each Siege day may increase the yield of castle loot. PVP

 

7. System generated PVP matches that pit solo players or teams of 3, 5, and 10 against each other in a game of capture the flag, pit dueling, free for all matches, or all out battles. PVP
